In The Great Harbor, you lead a Roman colony in the Mediterranean, building a bustling harbor and securing your place in history. Each round, you draft dice that act as workers, assigning them to harbor tiles to gather vital resources such as sails, planks, rope, and metal. Use these to construct ships in the shipyard, forming fleets that can sail across the Mediterranean for trade, or confront the threat of the Cilician pirates. At home, you expand your colony by building docks, insulae, workshops, and farms, while recruiting patricians and specialists to boost your influence. You can advance on the Senate track for imperial favor, or resort to
smuggling when resources run thin.
Every decision shapes your colony’s prosperity and reputation, as you balance harbor expansion, naval strength, and political standing. By the end, the colony that thrives through smart planning and bold action earns glory in the eyes of Rome.
